The new millennium indeed set new standards for the German miniature scene: In June 2000, when the international "1zu12-fair" in Soest / Westphalia was born, nobody really knew, if the public would at last honour the efforts of the 70 exhibitors who shared the premiere's risk and acted as godfathers and -mothers to the baby. But at once this new fair became a very special event with a very friendly atmosphere. Well reputed all over the world the child has grown quickly and developed not only to become the the biggest miniatures fair in Germany but one of the best renowned miniatures shows worldwide.
