The new millennium
indeed set new standards for the German miniature scene: In June 2000, when
the international "1zu12-fair" in Soest / Westphalia was born, nobody
really knew, if the public would at last honour the efforts of the 70 exhibitors
who shared the premiere's risk and acted as godfathers and -mothers to the
baby. But at once this new fair became a very special event with a very friendly
atmosphere. People on both sides of the tables were in high spirits and enjoyed the fair-weekend. An british exhibi-tor's leave talking: "Usually fairs are only business for me, but Soest in its relaxed, friendly atmosphere - that's little holi-days!"
Well reputed all over the world the child has grown quickly and developed not only to become the the biggest miniatures fair
