In 2003 for the third time in Soest: Elisabeth Bettler's hand-thrown fine stoneware and porcelain items. The artisan was represented by OSWI Wismans who had the whole range  of "Glasscraft" on his table, too.
Renowned for finest basket-work is Waldemar Backert from Michelau, who celebrated his golden profession's jubilee in 2003. This is a modern bed from wickerwork,  the doll is made by "Cinderella", Silvia Leiner from Stuttgart.
Specialised in furniture that are decorated with the traditional Hindeloopen painting: the team of Wagon Mountain Studio from the Netherlands.
Keep smiling was no problem on both sides of the 1zu12-tables - much more public than in the first years and much better sales made it easy. The fair's relaxed atmosphere was well commented.
Simplicity in perfection - Art Nouveau-ensemble with writing desk and chair made from ebony decorated with aluminium (Jürgen Engel) on a handstitched carpet by Carpet Matters.
Ten years Uwe Habermann worked on his replic of the legendary Amber room. It was an outstanding highlight of the 4th 1zu12 miniatures' show.

The 1zu12 has grown quickly: more than 130 exhibitors from all over Europe attended the fair in 2003, "old friends" as well as new talents.
Paintings of the old masters in miniature format does Diane Meijboom from the Netherlands.  As canvas she uses, as to be seen, sometimes even furniture.
Sparkling as real: Thuringian glassblower Gerd Felka presented his highly polished crystal glass vases.

These goblets, each a carefully researched replic of fullsize originals, are perfectly worked out from amber, silver and gold. The artisan: Jürgen Engel from Michelstadt, the standard: of course museum's quality!
Another plus at the fourth 1zu12-fair: 14 interesting sculpture- and dressing-workshops for creative visitors. Workshops are as well planned for this year's show.
Leather accessories by José Maria Gomez Panizo from Spain are beyond comparison. This is a golfer's equipment in black and white. José Gomez teached two workshops in Soest 2003.
Fully movable is this just 8 millimeters measuring teddy bear. It was sewn by Shirley Scheibehenne.

Teeny Weeny Teddies and Friends are handmade unics, clothed with antique fabrics and lace.
Jean Luc Caillat from Karlsruhe is specialised in Art Deco.  This is an easel, decorated in front of a drawing by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.
