Instructed by Peiwen Petitgrand (Oiseau deNim), participants in this workshop will make 4-5 "David Austin roses", a very attractive species because of its double, large blossoms, out of air-drying porcelain and paper (for the foliage).

No. 3: Let there be light

In this workshop, miniature electrician Roland Sachse explains to his students how a doll's house can be functionally electrified. The workshop consists of four parts: Electrical engineering in theory and practice, soldering from big to super small (soldering stations are provided on loan) and finally the equipping of an Advent wreath or arrangement with four burning SMD/LED candles made of real wax.

No. 4: A Christmas Carol

... is on the agenda in this workshop with doll maker Helena Reijnen (Fashion Dolls in Miniature). The students can choose a figure from the four singers shown here, which they can then dress and do their hair in class. (Please indicate the type when registering).

No. 5: An Imperial Cherry Blossom Festival

... will be celebrated in this workshop - but here, too, before pleasure comes work: in the morning, students will make the silver crown jewels of the Japanese Empress (crown and necklace set with precious stones). After the lunch break it is time to make a decorative cherry blossom branch from copper wire and cold porcelain.

No. 6: At a Safe Distance

... is where rent collectors in the Renaissance kept their debtors behind such a table, as it is to be made from a MDF furniture kit under the guidance of Arjen Spinhoven. Equally important are the assembly instructions for the furniture and instruction in the proper use of acrylic paints to give the MDF a real wood look. And the table with a large drawer and secret compartment under the sliding tabletop can of course be used for other purposes (see e.g. the Merian study, presented in issue no. 99).

No 10: Second Hand Books

..., pictures and antiquarian printed matter are on sale at the market stalls of the "bouquinists" who line the right bank of the Seine in Paris all year round. The workshop with Iris Arentz (Trezoortjes) will focus on building and decorating such a rustic book kiosk.

No 11: Modelling with BeeSPuttY

This two-part figure modelling course is suitable for beginners and advanced learners alike. During part one the expert Stefan Niehues-Ellermann gives a general introduction to modelling, presents his BeeSPuttY modelling clay and explains which tools are helpful in the process.
In part two, you then move on to free modelling according to your own ideas, but always with individual help from the course instructor.
