No. 1a / 1b: Very Feminine

... are the protagonists of Helena Reijnen’s Workshop. Her students can pick from two alternative dolls to dress: Model No. 1a is continuing with the popular „Outlander“ theme. This time, Claire is strolling Paris in an elegant red dress, dated about ten years before the French Revolution. Model No. 1b is called Susanne and is posing revealingly dressed on an ottoman or a bed.

No. 2: Crown Jewels

..., imbedded in a velvet jewel case, will be crafted during this workshop taught by Sun Lemmens. It is an exquisite „Nalladris“-replica of a pearl and diamond collier that the last Russian tsarina Alexandra once wore. For this necklace to work out as beautifully as its ideal, you need good eyes and/or a good magnifier as well as a steady hand.

No. 3: A bureau

..., designed by the famous Art Nouveau designer Émile Gallé in 1903 and a matching chair designed by miniaturist Arjen Spinhoven are the core of this workshop. Students will learn how to put together the two MDF furniture kits and – even more interesting – how to make them look like real mahogany wood using acrylic paint and varnish. The instuctive workshop is also suitable for beginners.

No. 4: Up and Away

... is where you'll go during workshop no. 4. Mike Thomas of "Seaside Miniatures" is inviting you once more to craft a scale 1:48 lighthouse with his participants, making sure that they are able to safely sail around all dangerous cliffs while constructing and painting the lasercut kit. The little rowing boat will also be made seaworthy. The lighthouse can be opened from the back and is equipped with all the furniture a lighthouse keeper needs to feel at home.

No. 5: A Copper Frying Pan

... will be forged at workshop no. 5, led by Marie-Louise Markhorst. Once the frying pan is done, a brass handle will be crafted, professionally soldered and securely riveted to the pan.

No. 6: Lighting Up Your Dollhouse

... will be taught during workshop no. 6 with Roland Sachse, the electrical expert of „Bea’s Miniaturen Manufaktur“. This has been the topic of his workshops before, but this time, the class will be less theoretical than before.
Although you can never get by without any theory if you would like to electrify your dollhouse properly, this class includes theory as well as practical elements, including electrical engineering, soldering in different scales and finally crafting an Advent wreath or arrangement with four burning SMD/LED candles made from real wax.

No. 7: Scale 1/12 Character Heads - fully booked

... will be modeled by Stefan Niehues-Ellermann’s students during this workshop. Step by step, the inventor of the modeling mass „BeeSPuttY“ will show you how to best handle his material to get perfect results. Students will learn the basics of modeling by crafting a character head scaled 1/12. At the end of the class, every student should have crafted a presentable workpiece. Previous knowledge is not necessary.

No. 8: No Witchcraft

... is needed to build this richly decorated witches‘ table. Iris Arentz will show her students how to build the table (15cm width, 13cm height and 7cm depth) from a DIY-kit. Afterwards, students will craft candles and candle holders, fill and close containers and craft a couple sample baskets, books, hats, wands and tarot decks. The rest of the decorations can be made at home after the workshop.

No 9: Bookworms

... will love the topic of workshop no. 9 led by Karin Caspar. Students will learn how to craft their own stack of books, including the weathering of paper and leather. At the end of the class, you will have built one or two nicely decorated stacks and at least two open books. The exact number of the books you make is up to you.
